About The Collective

More Than a Gym. A Community Built to Grow Together.

We believe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can transform lives—building confidence, discipline, character, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Our story

Built on Experience. Inspired by Community.

Locally owned since 2018

The Collective is a locally owned, family-operated academy that has served the Treasure Valley since 2018.

Formerly Gracie Barra Boise, our academy entered a new chapter as The Collective Jiu Jitsu Club—with the same owners, many of the same coaches, and the same commitment to helping students grow on and off the mats.

We chose the name The Collective because the best academies are built together. Students, coaches, parents, and families each contribute to a culture where people feel challenged, supported, and proud to belong.
