Come as you are. Grow with us.

There's a Place for You on Our Mats.

Jiu-Jitsu is more than learning techniques. It's about building confidence, challenging yourself, and discovering what you're capable of.

At The Collective, our Women's Jiu Jitsu program gives women and girls a welcoming place to learn practical skills and train together. This class welcomes all experience levels—from first-time beginners to women who already train.

Whether you're stepping onto the mats for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, there's a place for you here. Bring your questions, take the time you need to learn, and build your skills one class at a time.

More than learning the moves

Build Skills You Can Grow With.

Fundamentals, practical self-defense, and a community that makes it easier to keep showing up.

01

Practical Technique

Learn fundamental Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu movements, escapes, and positional control. Explore how those skills connect to self-defense situations.

02

Confidence Through Practice

Build familiarity with new positions and movements through consistent training. Progress comes from learning, asking questions, and trying again.

03

A Community of Women

Train alongside women and girls with different backgrounds and experience levels, united by the opportunity to learn and grow together.

Inside a class

Know What to Expect.

Our academy's usual class flow moves from warming up to learning a technique, practicing with a partner, and putting the lesson into context.

01

Get Moving

A warm-up helps you get moving and ready to learn Jiu-Jitsu-specific movements.

02

Learn the Technique

The coach demonstrates the lesson and breaks it into clear steps so you know what to focus on.

03

Practice Together

Work through the movement with a training partner. Ask questions and take time to build understanding.

04

Put It Into Practice

Situational practice connects techniques to positions and decisions. Your coach helps guide the learning process.

You don't need to know the terminology or get every movement right. Your first class is a chance to meet the team and start learning.
